SOCIAL AND SUPPORT GROUP FOR GAY MEN LIVING WITH HIV

IN NORTH GREATER MANCHESTER AND LANCASHIRE

The group meets twice a month on a Saturday afternoon, alternating between Bury town centre and Manchester Gay Village.

It provides gay men living with HIV the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation, share experiences and get support from each other. It also provides an opportunity to get involved in activities planned by the group. For further details please see the Saturday Meetings page.

We are delighted to say that Positive Steps has been awarded a grant from the Big Lottery Fund in August 2011 allowing us to take forward our plans to run three residential weekends in Snowdonia, monthly meetings in Bury and training opportunities for volunteers.

Please see the Residential Events page for details of these and other activities.

This group provides an opportunity to:

  • Socialise and get to know other positive gay men

  • Share information, advice and support

  • Feel less isolated and share ideas on how to challenge stigma locally

If you would like to find out more please look at the future events page.
